Frequently asked questions
Which platforms does Posty work with?
Instagram professional accounts, Facebook Pages, Telegram channels and groups, and TikTok accounts. Posty does not publish to personal Facebook profiles or personal Instagram accounts.
What do I need to post to Instagram?
A professional (Business or Creator) Instagram account that is linked to a Facebook Page. Instagram does not allow third-party tools to publish to personal accounts.
What do I need to post to Telegram?
Add the Posty bot to your channel or group as an administrator with permission to post messages, then connect the channel in Posty. You can also use your own bot created with BotFather.
Why are my TikTok posts private?
Until Posty’s app passes TikTok’s content-posting audit, TikTok only allows posts made through Posty to be private (visible only to you). Posty shows a notice on TikTok targets while this applies.
Is Facebook and Instagram access available to everyone?
Publishing to Facebook and Instagram depends on Meta’s app review. While Posty is in beta, availability of these connections may be limited to approved users.
Does my computer need to stay on?
No. Scheduled posts are published by Posty’s servers at the time you choose, even if your browser is closed.
Can a post fail?
Yes. Each platform can reject or delay a post, for example because of an expired connection, a rule on their side or an outage. Posty shows the result for every account separately, lets you retry a failed one and emails you when a scheduled post fails. We cannot guarantee delivery on third-party platforms.

How do I delete my data?
Open Settings and choose Delete account, or email [email protected]. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
